dots and leopard

Skirt: J.Crew (sale-no longer available online) (available here-not on sale) (other option)
Tights: Old (similar)
Shoes: SoleSociety - Margie 
Belt: Gap (old)
Bag: Target 
Necklace: BaubleBar
Bracelets: J.Crew (stretch bracelet no longer available online)



When I put this outfit together and looked in the mirror - I liked it! So I  wore it. But after I saw the pictures...for some reason I no longer liked it that much. Bottom line - the mirror lied to me. How dare she?! 
Even though this look is a couple of weeks old by now, I decided to share. Mainly because I sort of started liking it.

 Does this happen to anyone else?

Well, I guess that it can apply to ideas for outfits: 'If God allowed you to have the idea for an outfit, it's because you can pull it off'. I think it looks good on you!   7. I love it and I think it looks great on you. It's a fun combo. But I think I would do a solid black leg instead of dots? (Easy for me to say as I sit here in my Gap cords...lol!)

  11. This happens to me all the time. I like it. I love mixing of patterns. Sometimes a look can grown on you and I hate mirrors sometimes, especially in stores. They always make you look good and then you come and look at yourself and think what is wrong with my mirror??

  22. I can't decide how I feel about this outfit. I adore that skirt with the tights, but I'm not sure I love the sweater with the whole look. But you look fabulous in everything, so thin and fit!!

  23. This exact thing happens to me from time to time - looks fine in the mirror but totally different in the pictures. And yes after a bit of time to get used to the idea, generally the pictures don't seem so bad after all :)
