Quick update on non-ablative pixel laser procedure - everything peeled off, finally. It took longer than the lady said it would. I'm more hopeful to see results after the new couple of procedures.

one of each please

Since I look like I ran into a screen door, with brown dots all over my face, I haven't had the desire to dress up (thanks to the non-ablative laser treatment I mentioned couple of posts ago).

So this week has been a week of comfort clothes (like the second picture from previous post). Therefore, I'm ready for something cute.  Here is my current love, need, want...gotta have it now...list.  Express has some super cute colored skinny pants and jeans. I NEED a pair from there. Have you seen Editor Ankle Pant?! LOVE!

Laser treatment

Hi lovelies! Hope all of you are doing great!
Just got back from Canada few hours ago. Sis and I left on Sunday, it was a last minute thing. Therefore, I feel like I've been away from blogging....for weeks....and not just for a couple of days. I have some catching up to do.

Friday, finally, I had my first Laser treatment for acne scaring. At first I wasn't sure if I need to even mention anything, but for some reason blogging makes me want to share this info with you all.
Mainly because it might help someone that is looking into skin laser resurfacing. I do appreciate the info I have found on the web, all thanks to those who were kind enough to share their experience with the world.  I won't go much into detail and bore anyone right now, I'll do that some other time ;)
If any of you would like to know more about how my first procedure went, feel free to email me.

Overall the procedure went well and I have three more to go. My skin has not started peeling yet, it can take anywhere from 3-7 days. I will post the 'before' and 'after' pictures once all my procedures are done and tell you my overall experience.

I've learned not to believe a word I hear on the weather forecast.  Ok. just sometimes. I don't think it was supposed to snow today.  Or maybe I just didn't want to believe it...like tomorrow....it's supposed to get bad.  I'm hoping they're wrong, again!

Soft Wavy Hair Tutorial

Soft, sexy wavy hair? Sign me up! 

I have received so many hair tutorial requests and at some point I might have mentioned that I'm a little camera shy. Yea, I know, me camera shy, yea right!  It's true my friends, it's true. I don't even like my picture taken, unless it's with my own camera...because it has that little magic button called "delete" and I have the FULL control of it. 

I didn't want to leave you all hanging because of this little issue cameras and I have.  So I searched and searched to find a lovely lady on youtube that might curl her hair in a similar way I do but most importantly with the same results (yes, there are waaay too many youtube videos on how to create soft waves).  I've been frying my hair for years and years but curling it the way I do for about 6 yrs now (my hair is naturally curly/wavy but the not the pretty kind of curly/wavy in my personal opinion.  Picky much?!)

Ok, so here is the video I found and I picked this one because the results are pretty much the same as mine. It doesn't look like you tried hard. 

I don't divide/put my hair up when curl it, because for me, personally, it's faster just to take pieces and curl them all around as I go, starting with the front. But it might be easier just to do it the way she does.

You'll figure out which technique works best for you, so don't give up if it doesn't turn out the way you want it look the first time.  Keep trying until you get the desired results.

Well, I got my watch. The one I've been stalking for a while. I thought I wanted a round one until my husband showed me this one. And I fell in love. Since I already have a round MK watch (one I wore in all pictures) I thought this one would be perfect. And thanks to my amazing husband now it can look pretty on my wrist.

This is probably the type of attire I should be wearing to the office more often. But I do like that the dress code is not as strict as one of my previous jobs. Having flexibility makes dressing in the morning, especially on days I lack inspiration, a lot easier.

Finally a sunny day after weeks of gray skies! 

One of my New years resolutions for this blog - no more work-bathroom-mirror pictures. So far I did great!  And that's one of the reasons you haven't seen many outfit posts thing week.  BUT, good news is....days will be getting longer here in no time, which means I'll be able to take some outdoor pictures (or quit my full time job and take pictures when ever I want).  Now that would be nice, wouldn't it!?!
