I would buy one of Michael Kors classic bags in black leather. I have never seen someone carrying one that didn't look the utterly peak of perfection.

ReplyDeleteYou already know my thoughts on designer bags - I don't shut up about them LOL! If I had to choose one right now (under 1K) it would be the LV Speedy 30 or Neverfull in Damier Ebene - they look sophisticated - match with most outfits (especially fall/winter) and you don't have to be scared of using them (what's the point of spending on so much on a bag you're scared to use!)
My second choice (but over 1k) would be a Tan Celine Luggage bag - it has the look of Hermes, but much more practical and less expensive (though still pricey!)
I can safely say I'd NEVER purchase a Birkin (the price is just too ridiculous for a bag!) but if I were to magically get one - I'd love a classic tan one :-)

I also love the Louis Vuitton Mongram alma. A nice handbag is a great splurge I think ;) especially because at least with my more pricey bags, they get a lot of use but don't show it!
i lust over MJs quilted stam bag, i just love it, but in the meantime, i love my rebecca minkoff bags!! they're so freakin cute with some edge and are much more affordable!

ReplyDeleteYou're trying to kill me here, only one handbag!!?? I think I have a good selection of handbags, but if money were no object, I would consider a Chanel flap, a Proenza Schouler PS1 or PS11 in a fun color or possibly a Celine Luggage tote. It would be a tough choice.

Ah Chanel is on my wishlist too. I'm not getting a new bag, unfortunately. Each time I think I'm ready to splurge on 1) I can't decided which one would be the best choice 2) can't bring myself to spend the $$. :)

I'm a student and can see myself putting in all I need for a day of class, then using it for a day of shopping as well. So professional and versatile looking.
