colored pants

One of the easiest ways to ease into the colored pants trend is by keeping rest of the outfit neutral.  But sometimes you just need another "touch" of color (color blocking is on my list).
Three simple and affordable looks I'm loving right now.




*First look: Mint tee, Pink skinnies, Mint wedges, Necklace 

*Second Look: Gray tee, Cobalt blue skinnies, Nude wedges, Multi-color bag, Necklace

Third Look: Bow-tie top, Coral pants, Flats, Ring

  3. oh SO cute. only problem with a lot of skinnies is they are SUPPPPPPPPPPPER tight. like, literally a second skin, and i'm all about colored pants, but i'm not about too-tight colored pants. i really want cobalt jeans. so, nevertheless, i'm continuing on my quest!!

    1. I know what you mean. It's hard to find a pair that's made well (and still affordable) and doesn't feel almost like leggings.

  4. Loving the middle outfit - the necklace and top are so pretty - and royal blue skinnies seem less intimidating than most others because it's the closest to denim.

    I know I will give in to the skinnies trend, just not sure what my first purchase will be... White won't count will it lol ? I've bought and returned red skinnies, they looked silly on me.... Maybe I'll try a pretty pink like the one you linked to.

    1. Haha no white will not count. I think pastel colored skinnies would be a good option if you aren't ready for the really bright ones.

  5. I own a pair of pink jeans from Gap. I've been keeping keeping the tops pretty simple/loose (the jeans are tighter than I prefer most jeans) - usually blues/blacks/whites. I'm tempted to try mint now though - I love those mint wedges!

      I love this post! I finally found a pair of mint skinnies that I LOVE (from Asos), but I don't know what to pair it with! I like this post so much because it pairs neutrals with the bold colors, but can it work the other way around? Would love to know!!

    I am new to skinny jeans, I love them. I have really long legs (35 inch inseam) and short torso. I have 3 pair of skinny jeans and I don't dare wear 2 of the pairs because the length is questionable. What is the correct length for skinny jeans? If it's too short, should I just roll them up?

  14. i'm loving look #2 (may need to scoop that topshop tank!)
    i'm kind of obsessed with colored skinnies lately and i'm pretty sure i have every color out there (minus mint which i'm on the hunt for!) i do agree with keeping the rest of the look neutral, but i have been adding pops of color in my accessories and always some leopard ;)

  15. YES YES YES to colored pants. I actually bought a few a few weekends ago. Red...white...navy... I LOVE being able to wear them freely in the spring time. I want a pair of those blue pants!

  16. I love the second look too. I have dark red pants, but I never know what else I can do with them. I usually wear the red pants with a white shirt with leopard print scarf and a black blazer. and I hate repeating this look....any suggestions?
