This blouse is making its first appearance on this blog and it is my favorite blouse. Not sure what's up with that. I've had it for a while, I've worn it before..but never to work I guess. The minute I saw the blouse at The Loft I knew I had to have it. Except I didn't rush and buy it right away (shocker, I know). I was patient enough to wait until they had some type discount on it. As we all know The Loft has promos once in a while...and as soon as I received an email with subject "40% off the entire store" I ran and bought it. 

It was love at first sight!

Blazer two days in a row...that's unusual for me.  I do love the combination of a flowy top and a blazer. 

Besides yawning every .56464634864 seconds and desperately trying not to think about a nap I'm boring today aka I don't have much to say.  Blame is to be put on my brain cells that are clearly taking a nap themselves...the only explanation I can come up with why I have been staring at the screen for the past hour, it seems.  Rain does that to ya, so consider yourself warned. It could happen to anyone, no joke!

I might have mentioned before (like..last year)  how much I love these peep toe shoes (color is a very deep purple). I've had them for about 4 yrs or so and they are super comfortable. These shoes are the proof that cheap doesn't necessarily mean bad quality and blisters on your feet. I wish SJP still had her clothing like sold some place (does she and I just don't know about it?).  I think these shoes are the best $8.99 ever spent (I know this is not always the case with cheaper shoes).

It's lemonade I'm holding there..not beer..in case you're wondering. We were at the Art Festival and it was such a beautiful day...80 degrees..and that's also what caused the lovely frizz on my head.  Not complaining, just sayin'.

Plus, I finally got to wear these adorable bow sandals (not very visible in pictures, sorry). They are the dupes of Valentino Bow Sandals...just $270 cheaper.

First, skirt is linen...therefore all the wrinkles. Second, I'm SO bummed that I forgot about MAC's new collections (last two ones really) and now the lipsticks I wanted are all sold.out. Yea, not just the lipsticks but also the lip gloss I liked is sold out. So to calm myself down I had to buy Cremesheen Glass in Just Superb..pretty color. And then I had to buy a chocolate pastry too so I could forget about the sold out stuff and focus on the yumminess of the pastry. It worked. For about 1 minute..until I finished the pastry.  No, I'm not being dramatic at all...I should have just bought more pastries!

So how is your day going? Did you buy anything from MAC's last two collections (Quite Cute and Fashion Flower unless there was something in between)

This weekend I'm hoping for nice weather for the Art Festival. The only thing I ever bought at an Art Festival are crystal/glass nail files (everything else is way too expensive)...which I absolutely love and they last forever. I would totally recommend buying those if you already don't have one but do not buy one at a drug store...they are a true waste of money as they become dull after couple of uses.

Have you tried crystal/glass nail files yet? Like or dislike?  :)

Over the weekend I decided to check out solesociety.com and decided to give them a try. As you know, or don't know, I've joined ShoeDazzle sometime last year and to date have not purchased anything. I guess I wasn't smitten by anything so far. Few times they had cute purses but those usually sell out pretty quick.

There is something exciting about logging into my account each month to see what type of shoes they picked out for me. And best part there is no charge unless you purchase (and don't forget to skip a month if you are not planning on purchasing anything otherwise you'll be charged and will have a credit on your account).

Even though it has been only a few days since I joined Sole Society they seem to have better quality shoes. There is a pair of sandals I really really like and they're genuine leather. I'll post those to get your opinion on them.

Have you given Sole Society or ShoeDazzle a try?  Purchased anything from either one?

As I was about to post this...somehow I actually deleted the whole thing..and it saved a blank page. Don't you just love when that happens?! 

Here is run down...outfit from Wednesday, got sick that day and just getting better. Oh, and did I mention the weather was amazing...almost 80 and no humidity. Just perfect...except I couldn't enjoy it thanks to a cold/flu deciding to pay me a visit. Today is in 50's and rainy, just in case you're wondering haha

On a positive note, love this dress. It's strapless so I had to make it work appropriate by adding the cardi (just couldn't wait to wear it, which ideally is w/out cardi and with flip flops).

Oh, and thank you on your sweet comments on the last post. Also liked hearing how many of you 'mood-dress'.  Many of us are so alike :)

I don't think this outfit was/is worth posting...but as I've mentioned before I want try to post great and blah outfits. Truth is, all of us have blah days..and today is one of those for me. Thanks to my allergies, which deprived me of sleep last night, I didn't want to get out of bed this morning yet alone get dressed. These items of clothing were the first ones to be noticed in my closet and ta-da...this is what happened. It could have been pretty bad though. I was going to wear a skirt but definitely wasn't in mood for it.

I hope everyone had a great weekend!  We had super nice weather..it was in high 60's, nice and sunny. I certainly hope it just gets better from here.

I scored this skirt on Friday while thrifting with my sis. I actually found four skirts...had to wash them all and have them ready for today in case we had nice weather...and guess what? We do have nice weather. 

Skirts seem to be the only items of clothing I find while thrifting (could it be because I go straight to skirts rack?).
