Today I just had to run a few errands and since it feels like another Fall day I was excited to wear my vest, again. Friday it was 90 degrees, today it's 60 out. Go figure.
My roots were asking for some attention today...as in "can you please fix us...so we look like rest of your hair" type of attention. I haven't decided if I just want my roots done or go darker again. I really like this color but the upkeep is little expensive. But again, if my hair isn't right, not even a perfect outfit or makeup can't make up for it or fix it. Originally I wanted highlights for Summer and darker hair for Fall/Winter. So I need to decide pretty soon what to do.
Any suggestions?
Hope all of you are having a great Monday!

Love the look!
ReplyDeleteLast fall I went dark and loved it. I'd like to go dark again this year but even the semi-permanent dyes from the salon stick in my hair and I get that horrible colour line...
I think you would look great either way!
Love the vest. First saw it in an earlier post and I just had to have it! Picked it up this weekend in the tan/beige color and can't wait to wear it!
ReplyDeleteCute outfit- love the flats. I think your hair looks great but maybe darken it for the fall/winter because it looks great that way too.
ReplyDeleteI love it! Thanks for stopping by my blog! I love how you styled it with the chambray shirt, leopard flats and black pants! I have everything to pull this outfit off, except for the shoes! Thanks for the ideas!
ReplyDeletemy highlights have been growing out for quite awhile... I'm thinking natural is the way to go for me for fall. I like darker hair for winter... but Im sure you look fabulous with either!

Either way looks good imo, but I can't go lighter. It always goes brassy on me. I wish I could get pretty highlights like yours!
ReplyDeleteVery cute, Lilly! I'm looking for a chambray shirt and I can't believe I missed that at Target whenever it was sold! You look adorable, and I love that H&M bag.

You look amazing, I love this outfit on you! (as usual)
ReplyDeleteI think you look great with both dark and light hair. I don't like to have my hair be high-maintenance though so I would probably take the path that was least expensive/upkeep.
That ON vest looks SO good on you - loving how you pair it with different outfits.
ReplyDeleteI would go darker for fall - darker glossy hair looks awesome in fall :-)
hair upkeep can def. be $. i'd say go darker for fall! you'll still look great :)
ReplyDeleteYour hair always looks so pretty, even in a simple pony! I say go a bit darker. Not too dark though, because upkeep is expensive. I typically only dye my hair twice a year now because my color is so close to my natural hair. It's a relief!
ReplyDeleteThank you girls. Now I'm totally ready to change the color. The upkeep is definitely a lot more $$ with lighter hair, which is also a motivator to go a bit darker.
ReplyDeletelove your look!

Love this whole look! That vest is perfect. I wish I could help you with the hair dilemma, but I'm in the same one myself. The boyfriend and lots of my friends likes me better blonde, but something about the colder weather makes me want to go darker every year! Plus a change is nice every once in a while, I get bored easily :P
ReplyDeleteWhat if you went a bit darker but still had some nice caramel type highlights? I think darker would look awesome, but not too dark.
ReplyDeletei love light in the summer and dark in the winter... then you can brighten it up mid winter a bit if you start to feel drab!
ReplyDeleteI love that vest.. I have it in the cognac/tan color. It's such a great piece for only $25. I really should get the green version. ;)
