These past few days I've been in the mood for soft, feminine pieces. Yesterday I created (on polyvore) what I wished I wore. But since I do not own the gorgeous polka dot blouse I concluded I'll have to work with what I already have in my closet, even though this soft pink blouse is a recent buy. The red shoes were a last minute decision this morning. I needed more color than just the blouse and thought these shoes will do.
And thanks to this mood of mine, yesterday I bought a BCMGMaxAzria blouse because it looked so pretty and feminine, without trying it on. Well, turns out it's not very flattering, not my color..it washes me out (it's nude-ish I guess, couldn't find it online other than in black).
Do you ever buy clothing in-store without trying it on?

well its hard to agree or disagree, since I can't see your beautiful face...but the blouse is lovely..i would have made the purchase too:)
ReplyDeleteI buy things without trying ONLY if I know the brand/designer well. Otherwise its worth the 5 minutes it takes.

Love the outfit today! You should try the blouse on with a jacket, the detailing is awesome on it, maybe you'll like it better that way.

ReplyDeleteI've actually bought a Gap shirt without trying it on once on my way to the checkout line. The fit turned out pretty well so I was pleased. If it didn't work out, I'd hate to make another trip to return though.
I love the Limited and I always forget about them. The only work pants I wear are the Limited.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, I buy stuff without trying it on if I'm in a rush or extremely lazy that day, but only if I have a good idea about how it will probably fit.
